How to Install mrtrix software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

mrtrix software package provides diffusion-weighted MRI white matter tractography, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install mrtrix

mrtrix is installed in your system.

Make ensure the mrtrix package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep mrtrix *

You will get with mrtrix package name, version, architecture and description in a table
